Standing with our colleagues in the Caribbean
Our research project “Imagining the Nation in the classroom” is a collaboration between researchers from the University of Amsterdam, the University of Utrecht and the University of St Martin. In the aftermath of hurricane Irma (and Jose and Maria) our partners at the University of St Martin, and their partners in the region, are working hard to recover from the enormous damage that was done. On Tuesday the 26th of September our team organized a roundtable to discuss ways in which we could start helping our colleagues and the students at USM. Based upon question from St martin, several ideas were discussed and in the coming weeks, different initiatives will be developed. On this website we will keep you updated about the events organized, the funds received, the updates from The University of St Martin and ways in which you can also help.
